ITI STUDY CLUB -
GRANTHAM BRANCH
ITI Study Clubs represent a local channel of communication that allows for the dissemination of the latest developments in implant dentistry as well as discussion of clinical questions and an exchange of expertise in the local language of each country.
Each ITI Study Club offers three to four meetings per year and the groups remain small. This allows for interactive discussion of aspects of treatment planning, procedures, handling of complications and aspects of practice management and practice building. The ITI Study Clubs are a great place to tap the collective knowledge and opinion of the members within a trusted environment and informal atmosphere.
Since their introduction in 2010, well over 600 ITI Study Clubs have been established around the world.
ITI Study Clubs also provide a valuable networking opportunity.
We head the Grantham ITI study club.

Aims:
- To Introduce the legal framework relating to medical negligence cases.
- To understand the role of consent in medical negligence.
- To understand the role of the GDC and FtP procedural process.
Objectives:
- To enable the participant to understand how to understand the clinical negligence framework in relation to dentistry.
- To enable participants to reduce their risk profile in implant dentistry.
- To help the participant improve their consent process during implant dentistry.
- To explain to the participant their role within a complaint to the GDC and the possible outcomes and remediation process.
